What Is Time?

Many people in life never stop to ask themselves this question. What really is time? When asked this question my response was that time is something that shouldn't be wasted. So why do people waste it? There are many reasons and the most important of all is that people don't realize the value of time. There are two ways of looking at it. Time is something that always has been and always will be; or we only have 24 hours a day 7 days a week and about 365 days a year. That goes for everyone. We all fit into the same time frame, no matter what side of the world we are on, or which way life takes us. The way we manage our time and how we live our life is normally defined by the things immediately around us. Whether it be friends, family, a job, the community; life consist of finding out where we fit in time. If we let the things around us govern our lives, our lives then become just like a puppet on a string. For instance, I recently had a newborn and me being a father of two, I know that the best time to do things is right after I have fed and changed my little man. So If I have something important to do and he decides to scream his head off, It is then my decision if I will get him, or continue my task. We face decisions like this everyday and don't even notice it. Some people do notice and thats why i started my web page at www.apinnacleofsuccess.com. The thing is that most people make the wrong decisions and then time becomes wasted time, or rather we waste ourselves in time. Time itself can neither be managed nor wasted rather it is ourselves that use time indecisively. We blindly make a rash decision on something that all people come to realize is actually valuable. If we let the things around us in our lives mold us then we lack the ability to manage ourselves. Some of the best ways to manage time is to write things down, put it on a calendar and most important when the time or date comes, execute the task. When you write things down the important thing to do is to remember that you wrote something down. You don't need to remember what it was (this is obviously why it was written down). It is much easier to just remember that something is there. You could also put it somewhere that you would see it everyday. The calendar is a powerful thing because here you can view all of your tasks at one time on a monthly calendar. Most computers even come with them. If these two things are done when the time or date comes the task will be executed because the things will be in place to remind us of the task at hand. Time is the pilot of our world.
