A Positive Attitude

Let's be real. Not all people are cut out to be an entrepreneur. The things that it takes to be one can be either the same or different for everyone. However we can all agree that having a positive attitude is essential in being a successful entrepreneur. Either things don't go our way, or it takes to long to get results. Whichever way thing decide to go, we have to take light in the fact that later in the future as long as we stick with what we are doing, we will be successful. The life of an entrepreneur is surrounded by negativity. People around us may not understand why we do what we do, or they may not understand how it works, but it is up to us to show them that they can prepare for a better future just like we have. There is an expression that many people use and they say 'Keep your head up'. A little while ago, I was having some trouble in life and I tried to reiterate this statement by saying 'Keep your head up, but only if your at the top of the water'. The thing that I later came to realize is that entrepreneurs are the ones that keep kicking and keep their heads high even when things look down. We have to find any avenue of happiness possible. In building a successful anything in your life, a lot of work is involved. I for one learn this each and everyday. The thing is, if we choose to listen to the things that are around us, we will never be successful. We go to a web site and we see someone with the same add that we are about to post. Do you say 'well this must be a great web site to post at then.' and steer your ad around it; or do you say 'Well I cant post here nobody can see me because of that guy'. The attitude that we have affects everything that we do. We all have an attitude whether it be good or bad, however it is not the way we feel for the moment that matters. What matters is the over all feeling that we have everyday. When you first wake up are you happy? Something bad happens, does it just bounce off of you? Sure you may be mad for the moment. Your child may have hurt themselves or you may have had to discipline them, but at least they wont do it again. Even if they do they will know that they are doing something wrong. I for one have always had a positive attitude and I can say from years of experience there is a brighter side to everything. It is up to us to find it. Some people give up. Something bad happens and they look for a way out, then there isn't one and they fold under pressure. Sometimes things wont clear up for a while. Sometimes it will take days months or years for that better time to come. If we can see it however, it makes the now so much better and we can take pride and keep that positive attitude in everything that we do. It is up to only us to succeed.

What Is Time?

Many people in life never stop to ask themselves this question. What really is time? When asked this question my response was that time is something that shouldn't be wasted. So why do people waste it? There are many reasons and the most important of all is that people don't realize the value of time. There are two ways of looking at it. Time is something that always has been and always will be; or we only have 24 hours a day 7 days a week and about 365 days a year. That goes for everyone. We all fit into the same time frame, no matter what side of the world we are on, or which way life takes us. The way we manage our time and how we live our life is normally defined by the things immediately around us. Whether it be friends, family, a job, the community; life consist of finding out where we fit in time. If we let the things around us govern our lives, our lives then become just like a puppet on a string. For instance, I recently had a newborn and me being a father of two, I know that the best time to do things is right after I have fed and changed my little man. So If I have something important to do and he decides to scream his head off, It is then my decision if I will get him, or continue my task. We face decisions like this everyday and don't even notice it. Some people do notice and thats why i started my web page at www.apinnacleofsuccess.com. The thing is that most people make the wrong decisions and then time becomes wasted time, or rather we waste ourselves in time. Time itself can neither be managed nor wasted rather it is ourselves that use time indecisively. We blindly make a rash decision on something that all people come to realize is actually valuable. If we let the things around us in our lives mold us then we lack the ability to manage ourselves. Some of the best ways to manage time is to write things down, put it on a calendar and most important when the time or date comes, execute the task. When you write things down the important thing to do is to remember that you wrote something down. You don't need to remember what it was (this is obviously why it was written down). It is much easier to just remember that something is there. You could also put it somewhere that you would see it everyday. The calendar is a powerful thing because here you can view all of your tasks at one time on a monthly calendar. Most computers even come with them. If these two things are done when the time or date comes the task will be executed because the things will be in place to remind us of the task at hand. Time is the pilot of our world.
